Frequently Asked Questions
Subscription successful, but the features are still limited.
Refresh the Page
Refresh the Facebook page and try the download button again.
Check if you're logged into the extension
First, pin the extension icon to your toolbar.
- Click the extensions icon (puzzle piece) in the top-right corner.
- Find "PhotosDownloader for Facebook™" and click the pin icon next to it.

Click "Login or Signup with Google" — make sure to use the same Google account you subscribed with.

Once you're logged in, refresh the Facebook page and try again.
Check if the subscription went through
If the subscription worked, you'll see a Basic or Premium badge next to your email. Make sure you're using the same Google account you subscribed with.

If there's no badge and you see an "Upgrade to Premium" prompt instead (like the image below):

This is probably a caching issue. Try reloading your subscription info:
- Click the extension icon in the top-right corner.
- Click the icon next to your account name.
- Select "Reload" from the dropdown.
- Wait for it to finish.

After reloading, the badge should appear next to your account name. Refresh the Facebook page and try downloading again.
Log out and back in
Logging out fully clears the cache. Here's how:
- Click the extension icon in the top-right corner.
- Click the icon next to your account name.
- Select "Logout" from the dropdown.

Then click "Login or Signup with Google" again — use the same Google account you subscribed with.

After logging back in, the badge should show up next to your account name. Go back to Facebook, refresh the page, and try "Download Photos" again.
Still no badge? This usually means one of two things:
- You're logged into the extension with a different Google account than the one you used to subscribe on Stripe.
- The subscription didn't go through.
